Tiffany LiParental leave at my school is relatively good (by US standards), but whenever people say “How lucky!” I have to correct them. No, it wasn’t luck. This is a legally-binding policy my union fought for. Don’t minimize the fight.
Not mentioning what the leave policy is because it would just depress my European friends 🫠
