@carusb That yellow filter really made the foliage pop.
@tomnorthfilm Thanks Tom. That must have been late April so they were very new leaves, and taken more or less towards the sun, which probably contributes. Some of them look almost IR, but I've not yet tried IR so maybe the effect there is different.

J M W Turner ... looking on with appreciation.

@RobertJackson58585858 Um, thanks Robert! An ICM that worked, anyway. It's rather expensive doing them on film, and I rather regret spending a roll of Reala 100 on it. But I do like the result. There were several other interesting ones on that roll. The colours sometimes go... weird!
@carusb Good. I like it.
@joncounts Thanks Jon. Great when it works, disheartening when it doesn't! Definitely easier with digital, when you can at least see whether any attempt worked at all.
@carusb Yes, you're bold (and skilled) doing this with film. I ended up experimenting a lot more when I went to digital.
@carusb I do like the sympathetic curves.
@tapasinthesun Thanks Rom. That's what caught my eye, then the mystery of "why?". There are more of these trunks than you can see here, arranged in a ring. I couldn't work out how to photo more of it.
