Have fun riding where ever you're headed. 👋👋👋
My motorcycle old riding suits -- a Gortex Aerostich & leather Kushitani -- are hanging on the wall of my garage but they're just mementos now.
Started riding at age 15 but gave up riding about 5 yrs ago at age 70.
Lot of great memories but I have no intention of ever riding again even though I still have a M endorsement on my CDL that I also just keep as a memento.
I'll be thinking of you on riding on the road tomorrow. 😎
@sgt1372 That is very cool that you were riding till 70! I wish I can too 🤞🏾
I’m pretty sure that golden era of motorcycles are over and it’s all electronically driven now. We have no hopes of fixing something by the roadside in the event something breaks down. I started riding motorcycles as soon as I could barely reach the ground while leaning over a tad bit myself :) Did a bit of rallying in India. And then settled down to serious motorcycling with my grandfather’s old Enfield - those old British singles had their gear shifters on the right!! We could take the whole bike apart and put it back together on the road if required and we took it on all kinds of roads despite it being built for tarmac - see pic :-)
Right now, I am getting a bike just to beat the Bay Area traffic to and from work and MAYBE the odd ride down highway 1 if I can persuade my son that it will be more fun than his video games…
