DS404 | Wesnoth | Echoes of Invasion: Device Plot | Part 10 of 10 : Dicey Stories

New plans are made.

Dicey Stories

GM Note for Echoes of Invasion:

Thank you for sticking with us to the end of our Wesnoth campaign! I had a lot of fun scouring #BattleForWesnoth materials to flesh out our stories, so thank you to all the creators who work on the video game. https://www.wesnoth.org/

We play with Genesys rules but special thanks also to Tana Pigeon @TanaPigeonWMG for the #MythicGMEmulator. Many a time, the seed for a session came from two words rolled on her subject/action tables. https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/20798/mythic-game-master-emulator

The Battle for Wesnoth

GM Note cont:

Thanks also to the makers of RPG supplements available from the Genesys Foundry on DriveThruRPG. In particular, I Declare by @fatcrab was super helpful for fleshing out our social combats. I also got some good encounter ideas from material in Skill Adventures by David Shamp and the Skills Guide by Guillaume Tardif. And Heppa’s beloved brambles used the Area spell from Zynnythryx's Guide to Magic by @drainsmith.

GM Note cont:

Finally, to my players, Lex and @danielledoesdata, thank you both for a really fun and at times deep campaign. It’s hard to imagine this all started with your two bumbling elves getting lost in the Estmark Hills. Thank you for the many hours you spent outside game time thinking about your characters and sharing with me their hopes and dreams. And finally, thank you to all our listeners and readers. Your kind and appreciative words are a source of much joy to me.

Echoes of Invasion concludes:

Finally, with the South Tower contingent withdrawn, the elves are alone in the clearing with the pieces of Thrandolil’s research project and Kachen’s seemingly-dead body. Tric realizes that he is feeling so drained not just because of the emotional ups and downs of the day but also because this is the longest he has ever held an illusion in place...
