The article reads as if the problem is the underwhelming refresh, and not 100% that the refresh can't take away the taint that #Musk's fascism and white supremacy bring to the brand. The dip in foreign Tesla sales has been even worse. It's like the Europeans don't like fascists or something.
I live in the mid-Atlantic region and we see a lot more new EVs that are NOT Teslas these days. The brand is undesirable due to Elmo. Their #robotaxis are also bombing.
