The problem with #DeadlyPremonition2 (other than the dreadful gameplay; something the original also had) is that it is trying to be both a prequel and a sequel to the original game when it would have been better to just be another weird story
I’m also convinced that whatever the sequel/prequel was, it must have been stripped back heavily to get it shipped on time. It’s barely a story
Still thinking about #DeadlyPremonition2. The way it ends somewhat overwrites the end of the first game, which managed to be very bittersweet. Yet the continuation of the story is also quite off-putting. It really does leave a sour taste in one’s mouth
Still, points for reusing some of the music from the original game at the end, which did give me “the feels.”
I think I keep coming back to this thread because finishing the sequel makes me want to replay the original, but my copy is in Guangzhou and I’m in Otago
