Hi #solarpunk ppl 🧡, I've been working on creating this video:

You wanna Uninstalling Capitalism?

This is a [Global Call] #SolarpunkInstallParty

LAWCRAFT is the video game/live role-playing hybrid idea that I want to create openly.

At the video description, you have the links to the documents mentioned.

If you know people interested in some way, write me back.

If you prefer, you can read it in an article version:

[Global Call] #SolarpunkInstallParty - Uninstalling Capitalism

PeerTube

@danielquinn Hi, Daniel.

Welcome to the #SolarpunkInstallParty 😀 🥳 🌞 🐝

If you don't mind, I'll respond here to the comment you left on the #SolarpunkInstallParty web article, so the conversation has more visibility. 😀

«This is a great idea, but a massive undertaking».

Thank you so much for your interest.

«Solarpunk and mapping software are some of my favorite topics».

Cool!

«The software alone is a huge effort, and that’s before you take into account the process of actually getting people to use it and build a community around it».

You're absolutely right, the #SolarpunkInstallParty I'm proposing is huge, it could be overwhelming, require a huge collective effort, and it could also be exciting  .

«my skills are limited to server-side web development. You’ll need some rather talented front-end developers with AR experience, web designers for the website and probably some copy editors to help with translations»

As you rightly point out, the proposal is so ambitious that people with very diverse knowledge profiles must participate, each covering a small part. This, despite the difficulty, should have a positive impact on this adventure. For my part, up to now, I've focused my efforts on developing the conceptual material for the Gooeyware Organizational System, and now I'm in the process of focusing on developing its software implementation (resuming my software development studies, which I completed until 2008).

«Are you setting things up on a repo (hopefully not GitHub) somewhere? How do people get involved?»

I'm glad you asked how we can get involved. Currently, what you see is what you get. Do you have any suggestions for tools we could use?

My idea of making the proposal public through the XR Spain Solarpunk blog, and on Mastodon, is precisely to turn this personal aspiration into a collective conversation, from minute 0, in which we see what other tools (in addition to those mentioned in the current documentation) we can use to implement it.

I've been looking at coding tools we could use, and finally I've created a Codeberg repository. Would it be better to use another tool?

My opinion:
# Short term (pragmatic): Codeberg (AGPLv3) for stable global work.

# Medium term (strategic): Fork Radicle (like git p2p) in AGPLv3 to ensure copyleft and maintain compatibility with the GNU ecosystem, and consider adapting it to GNUnet or creating a git on GNUnet, from scratch, depending on the need.

# Long term (coherence): Migrate the process of creating new code from that fork to a post-capitalist license like PPL (Peer Production License), recognized by the P2P Foundation, to mark an ideological boundary: that the infrastructure of the digital commons can never be reappropriated by capital.

Perhaps a Radicle fork in PPL would be a desirable medium-term step, although given the turbulent global landscape, it would be more appropriate to focus on having an MVP (Minimum Viable Prototype) as soon as possible.

What's new about #LAWCRAFT & the #SolarpunkInstallParty in 2026?

Working to promote a university research project to join forces with academia and associative activists in Seville so that we can create a first Minimum Viable Prototype.
