Great movement. More people should be able to migrate to linux once w10 ends support. I personally started moving all the computers across my house to Linux Mint cinammon and mate. Its a very easy process! 🐧👊

Even if you plan to buy a new computer and keep using Windows, keep the old one and do this. Then you have a spare that you can try out Linux and experiment with different distros and/or desktop environments without having to worry about messing up your primary computer. You can also use syncthing (or whatever) to keep backups of your files on it.
Try out Linux and have fun, you might just decide you like it better--if not, it cost you nothing to find out.
