@poleguy
I'd say "any resistance is better than none".
But I want to recommend some helpful things:
- don't get the museum involved to organize resistance, better get in contact with local antiracism / antifa / civil rights groups
- if you want to involve yourself "officialy", the museum might like volunteers for "crowd control" who assist guests leaving quickly or who enforce judicial paperwork from agents before they enter the premises
- don't announce online that you want to break laws, it helps police justify showing up in numbers or using force against peaceful protesters
- still, it's better to show up and assist spontaneous or film police violence (but make sure hot protest action is not on cam)
- mask up, bring water, bring a small first aid kit
- don't brag about your actions online or offline, if you want to stay out of Trumps coming freedom camps
