The definitive version of Cole’s Law. Peak Zero IMHO.

This would likely been #Kimock’s early 60s #stratocaster, strung 14-65, through the 50 watt #Dumble and blackface #bandmaster in stereo.

Probably the best example I know of of his signature style and tone.

@mikebabyak Also — do you know if SK copped the Philly-area Action News theme song (“Move closer to the world my friend…”) for the head of Cole’s Law? Always wondered about that… #Kimock
@wdennis don’t know. Can’t imagine he copped it from somewhere but sometimes people unconsciously write stuff they’ve heard. He said he wrote it in the early 80s while sitting at a piano at his mom’s house. Was that theme around then?
@wdennis ah, just listened. I remember that theme. Would def have been on tv back in the day. There’s a line that’s similar, but kinda doubt he got it from there. It’s a pretty natural line over a pretty common chord progression. Some people have also pointed out that Coles is similar to a Neil Young song. Sometimes stuff just sounds like other stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
