Open question: Do you have a tech industry recruiter in Amsterdam, or possibly EU-based specialising in remote, that you can recommend?

I'm trying to find more personable recruiters who have the patience to deal with a middle-aged frontender trying to find a career path.

@fasterandworse I worked with a recruiter (now based in the Netherlands) a few positions ago who was successful in recruiting me. @erikcats @fasterandworse hmmm… tricky question. Most of my experience with external recruiters has been disappointing at best, and in the recent years I’ve only paid attention to a couple of internal recruiters from very concrete companies. Anything you are looking for concretely?

@threkk @erikcats I'm relatively new in Amsterdam and want to build a network to help find local-based work. I've been working remote since moving here. I'm a frontender but also looking for non-code roles... haha I'm generally a recruiter's nightmare
