The Eriogonum latifolium, Chalk Buckwheat, is busting out and with the buckwheats a large variety of native bees and honey bees. So many types can be seen in one afternoon that it's like watching BeeTV. And the Monarch caterpillars are back in my patch of Narrowleaf Milkweed. #CaliforniaNatives
