So I've been trying this new audio game that came out on iOS and Android called Glory Frontline. It's interesting, and not something I'm used to, but I enjoy it so far. Here's an invite code if you want to check it out.

After trying #GloryFrontline for a couple of days, it's already starting to get on my nerves in a serious way. Shit tons of microtransactions, training your skills requires resources obtained in stages to be used, necessitating the repeating of those stages for no real benefit, Etc. I'll see how things progress but I don't have high hopes here. Admittedly, this game does have some good ideas, but the execution of those ideas is poor at best, and they're overshadowed by the ideas that honestly...legit kinda suck.

Yes, I know these game devs need to make money. But I don't think microtransactions are the best way to go about doing that. I've only used two microtransactions from them once (allowing me to acquire automatic weapon switching and reloading), and I can honestly say I felt super scummy doing so. It was not a pleasant experience having to do this thing just ot get further in the first stage of the game, which is supposed to be the easiest.

As previously stated in this post, I'll keep playing the game for a bit to see if things improve. However, I do not have high hopes for this being the case, and could very well see it being removed from my device by the beginning of next week.

@jdking92 Welp I was gunna say shit but figured to let you figure that out on your own. When I first tried it, already from the first stage, I was not empressed. Their ideas are great but exicution of them is shitty at best!
@jcsteelguitars Yeah, the execution of their stuff isn't the greatest by a fair margin. Definitely not impressed either.
@jdking92 Following, to see how long it takes you. Would love to do a FPS, but wouldn't love to pay through the nose for basics. Also this dev seems to have a rhythm game, "Battle Against Darkness," which I might check out.
@pianomarian If it uses the same thing (IE, microtransactions and the like) I want no part of it. I despise games that are pay-to-win on principal. Only reason I picked this one up was because the marketing pitch made it look good and the app itself is free. Yeah...I discovered real quick that wasn't the case.
