@isaaclyman Yup.
What hasn't changed my life at all: Copilot.
What *has* changed my life: owning an e-scooter.

(I often do a fair amount of walking too and sometimes manual kicking when I'm out on my e-scooter)
@isaaclyman Also, Windows 11 is just way too bloated to even run on e-bikes. Which is probably a good thing, because they’d shove you ads down your throat while you ride, or have Copilot ask you “it seems like you’re trying to go uphill; do you need help?”.
E-bikes with Bosch mechanisms seem to be based on either FreeRTOS or FreeBSD, from what I can see here: https://www.bosch-ebike.com/de/licences-products
@isaaclyman they think AI will shield them from market volatility?
Including when investors finally figure out that AI decreases profits and pull out?
Whenever I had worked a Fortune 15 company's events unloading many dozens of roadboxes et al we had no loading dock and *constant* leeroy jenkins waves of ecycles, escooters crossing our paths.
plan your cities right and escoot and bike!
@isaaclyman much prefer this view, as opposed to fanatics insisting ebikes are for entitled rich assholes who ignore traffic laws.
I am in my 60s, not rich, and recovering from a stroke, and while I own a conventional bike, using it or even restoring it now is beyond me.
And adjusted for inflation the ebike cost $10 LESS.
@isaaclyman Microsoft’s new bumper sticker:
Copilot is my God.
@isaaclyman ‘Brakes.exe has performed an illegal error and will now shut down. Do you wish to send an error report?’
Aaaargh!! <splat>
As someone who owns and uses an e-bike: I am very happy that it runs - without Windows.
(What ever operating system is behind the controller, it is luckily not very enhanced AND just working).
