My early memories of being a cyclist, mostly on mountain bikes in the late 80s and 90s, coincided with cycling magazines with sticker sheets. I miss those.
Q4. What cycling-related stickers do you have (photos please)? Do any have any particular memories or meaning?

I had a couple freebies from product purchases a while back. Some from Yuba cycling for their family cycles. I'm pretty sure I would have had a Cannondale sticker from when I was a teen too.

@ascentale @DurableAce @bikenite A4. I don't have any with particular meaning that I can think of, but I did just get this one recently and just thought it was very nice! I don't know who did this one, but it was in the local artists sticker section at the Ace Hardware at the end of my block!
I also got some stickers (that I can't get pictures of at the moment) from the Urbanists.social admin that show the PeerTube mascot (a squid) riding a bicycle!
@ascentale @DurableAce @bikenite I have a couple of WOMBATS stickers (Women's Mountain Bike and Tea Society -- and yes, the ride leader really did bring a thermos of tea for after the ride).
Other than that I think the only stickers on my bikes are "I voted" stickers.

I owned a 10T truck for a few months, but apart from that have never owned an infernal combustion engine and my only EV was a longtail bike :) But I'm only 55, there's still time for the cult of the car to convert me!
@moz @ai6yr @ascentale @DurableAce @bikenite It's a particular sore spot for me, because I have had so many jobs ask me, either in the application or in the interview, "Do you have access to a reliable vehicle." And don't you know it, I do!
But they never see it that way.
@poorpossum @bikenite I'm fortunate to have been able to choose to live in places where that's less of a problem. Places outside the US, obviously, but also specific places within cities such that I can bike to work.
I've still been asked, and once argued with a potential employer about the mandatory company car as part of the salary package until I walked away.
Being ASD I'm also used to the idea of assuming neurotypicality and the double empathy problem. Carbrain is real!

I'd love to see a return to those stickers.
Audax UK and some of the ultras do nice cloth badges (for your bike bags) & stickers. And while they are good momentos, it's not really the same. More like a Scouting proficiency badge for long distance cycling!
I've got a lot of "brand" stickers on my toolbox. But, I'm not putting those on my bike. Again not really the same.
It'd be great to have a few stickers with wider appeal. Funny, social comment, local interest, nice art, whatever.

I did, but, yβknow, I didn't train or anything. It was a lot of fun, but there was a collision on the course just as I was about to start the final lap and the marshalls waved us all over. Nobody was hurt, which was great, but I did feel slightly robbed.
@ascentale @DurableAce @bikenite A4. The only cycling-related stickers I have are these that we made for @CyclingGuide and that we give out at events. I like it myself because itβs so simple. ππ΄πΌββοΈ

A significant number of my/our "more π² lanes" and "we like bikes" stickers have appeared in places I wouldn't expect mass adherents to be.
A4. To answer my own question, my cycling stickers aren't on my bike. I put them on my toolbox (of bike tools). Some are quite old.
Amongst those in photo 1, the 'Giant' sticker came from a mountain bike magazine sticker set and must be ancient. 'Noah's' is a long gone LBS, Noah's Ark, that used to be near Stroud in Gloucestershire. 'TF Tuned' is the company that used to service my #MTB suspension forks.
Amongst those in photo 2, '889' is my helmet sticker/race number from a 24 hour mountain bike race called Mountain Mayhem. It is from 2003, the second year I raced Mountain Mayhem. I was told stickers should not be put on helmets and so I didn't use it in the race and 22 years later it is still on my toolbox. The 'Saab Salomon' sticker in photo 1 is from the sponsors of the event.
Finally, in photo 3 is a sticker for the Cyclo-Cross World Championships, held in Louisville, Kentucky (USA). I did not go, but I do go to lots of Cyclo-Cross World Championships in Europe and in 2012 at #Koksijde, Belgium, the following year's event was being promoted, including by handing out stickers.

#BikeNite A4: I was never a Stickers-On-My-Bike person, but when we had the #BikeNiteSticker discussion a few months ago I thought "Why not?"
So here we are: An anti-theft sticker, a @CyclingGuide sticker, a @radiowaterloo.ca sticker, and a #Kitchener Public Library sticker. I've got a couple of shiny Vampire Duwop stickers for the top tube, put them on maybe later today.
