The fiscal conservatives in the GOP just added $4 trillion to the deficit to give the wealthiest people on earth a tax cut. The pro-family party just took healthcare away from 17 million Americans to give ICE a bigger budget than Brazil’s military. The single most inhumane bill ever passed.
The bills that come afterwards will compete in their objective to mass dehumanize Americans.

I've always viewed "fiscal conservatism" not as being fiscally responsible... but fiscally extremist RW... cutting, slashing, burning all the things they hated... and funneling their effort to fund oppression and destruction of the social safety net and tax cuts for the wealthy.
This needs to be said and said again. The Republicans -- ALL the Republicans -- need to be forced to own this. It's their party that wrote it, it's their party that passed it, it's their party which is responsible for selling off the United States to the kleptocracy.
They have at long last achieved the goal of Reagan: a government for the dollar, by the dollar, and damn everyone else.
Oh no, it's their fault, but they don't own it. They own the positives, or at least that's all they're trying to own. We need to make sure that every negative, every person kicked off Medicaid and Medicare, every child who can't get insulin, every neighbour who's picked up by the Gestapo, every layoff and every person kicked out of their homes, that everyone knows fully and completely that it's the fault of the Republicans.
We need to make sure that at every turn, every hurt they've visited upon the people lands squarely on their heads, and they don't just try to pass it off as being Biden's fault. That is what they deserve.
