Amazingly Meta actually has support. Also amazingly their support seems to specialise in buck passing:
I have so far been passed from one department to another 8 times today alone, and am no closer to a resolution.
Ok so I’ve spent literally an entire business day on the chat with them. Spoken to a total of 17 people (some of whom several times) and gotten nowhere.
I’ve been advised to ‘try‘ to convert our business instagram profiles into personal ones and back again. It’s probably fairly obvious that the my boss told me ‘absolutely not’ when I passed that on.
I was also told that this might be due to a temporary restriction on our account. Supports can see that there is a temporary restriction, but they cannot see the nature of the restriction, not how long it may last for. Apparently no one can tell that.
So that leaves me … stuck …
If anyone has any ideas I’d love to know…
