Remember, there are no ghosts... Only #cats..
@stux dude clearly has never owned a cat. "Oh, damned, something strange just happened. My cat must be bored again". Like a ghost could be throwing books across the room, and I'd be yelling at my cat to stop.
@praetor @stux It's been 13 years now since I last had a cat. And my brain still goes "oh, that's the cat" when I hear a strange noise or see something moving in the corner of my eye.

🀭

@benroyce @praetor @stux Ok, but I'll probably forget. Can you add them to the shopping list on the kitchen counter?

@ives @praetor @stux

reminds of the person who asked about strange post it notes around the house, in a legal advice thread of all places, suspecting something nefarious

some stunningly genius level person, from that scant evidence, successfully diagnosed that they had a carbon monoxide problem in their living space

Something Wicked

"Our landlord isn't letting me talk to you, but it's important we do." This text was written on one of several creepy post-it notes that mysteriously appeared in Redditor RBradbury1920's apartment. Who wrote them? Why? And how were they getting there? We get to the bottom of this famous Reddit mystery.

@benroyce @praetor @stux Good. Now put two and two together and ask yourself if you're really reading this on mastodon or if you're hallucinating it due to CO poisoning :^).
@ives @benroyce @stux or if you just have a cat. Mine will pull plastic shopping bags out of the trash, and leave them around because he likes the sound of them.
