only way to get itunes on linux is through wine or a vm with usb passthrough..

i highly recommend checking out rockbox for your ipod and using rhythmbox or strawberry as music manager software.

Yeah I found a guide for the Wine version so will see if I can get that working. I did try getting a jailbreak for my iPod but that was a bust, 7th gen touch that is very old and cranky lol
