Greetings from Uganda.We鈥檝e managed to innovate a way to collect #urine from a nearby school 馃毣馃挧 This is a big step for us at #UgandaEcoYouthsNetwork as we begin turning it into our own #organicfertilizer 馃尡 With guidance from our friend Mr. Harald, who is sharing amazing knowledge on how to make safe and useful fertilizer from #urine, we鈥檙e moving forward with #hope and #climateaction 馃檶 This kind of #youthinnovation strengthens #soilhealth and supports #sustainability in our #farming journey...

Wee鈥檝e managed to recycle plastic containers that were originally used for #alcohol fermentation by people near our community 馃嵍 One of our members collected them and brought them to us 鈾伙笍 Now we鈥檙e reusing them to support our eco activities at #UgandaEcoYouthsNetwork 馃檶 Turning local waste into useful tools is one way we promote #recycling and #sustainability 馃實馃挕 #YouthInnovation #EcoSolutions #WasteToResource #CommunityAction

@haraldgeyer I鈥檝e read and understood your document on urine as fertilizer. I learned that some crops like pumpkins need more nitrogen, while others need less. I also learned that it's important to apply the fertilizer on moist soil not on the leaves. I鈥檝e learned a lot and truly appreciate your work.
