Stop asking. No more money. None. Until you get your act together and respond with the fire and fury and action the times demand.
@Lightfighter @ThreeSigma @FaithinBones @petergleick
Looking at you Senator Gillibrand.
@FaithinBones @petergleick
Agreed. And the #DNC will never admit that their failure to address valid concern gave #47 his victory. Ignoring voter's concerns is inexcusable And the centrist #democrats have done that for too long.
I had many discussions with #pelosi and #Feinstein and #KamalaHarris staffers telling me the concerns I heard while canvassing were wrong. The voters didn't agree
@PaulWermer @FaithinBones @petergleick
Both parties see us as a nuisance.
@PaulWermer @FaithinBones @petergleick
I currently see very little acquiescence from the Dems... but at least I do see some.
Pharaphrased "you are too blame for putting Trump in office because you didn't vote blue no matter who"...
Seems to be losing its potency.
Truth hurts, especially if you have to look at those on your own side without a filter... but you need to look anyway.
@FaithinBones @PaulWermer @petergleick
By what stretch of imagination do you consider the Democrats "the far left"?
Do you even understand what that means?
@FaithinBones maybe if the "far left" are so numerous that they can make or break the Democrats, the Democrats should pander to them a little instead of prying off 1% of the Republican voters by trying to appeal to the right.
I do give them credit for stalling the bill as much as they could (making it be read out was great), but they should be bringing this energy to every piece of legislation that comes their way.
@Amoshias @FaithinBones @petergleick
We don’t expect anything better from Republicans. (And this thread is about constant fundraising.)
@VirginiaHolloway @FaithinBones @petergleick "Im tired of the far left blaming democrats when they caused this disaster"
I don't think that's about fundraising, but if it is you're right, my comment doesn't make sense.
The Democratic Party absolutely will not do that. Their whole party apparatus is funded by corporate billionaires, same as the Republicans. I used to be a registered Dem. Left after the 2024 election fiasco, edged on by the corporate safe priorities.
@petergleick "hey look at this latest terrible thing they did! We need to act!
Send me money."
The Democrats don't see themselves as leaders in a fight against billionaire fascism.

They see their sole role as walking a tightrope to win re-election while letting MAGA get a taste of reality under a despot.
They don't want to promote audacious policies that win elections, in fear of losing favor with their own billionaires.
They believe they'd lose forever to Republican billionaires buying votes.

Democrat billionaires have more in common with the Republican billionaires funding a fascist movement than the Democrat base.
The rich certainly aren't giving a mandate to establishment Democrats to fight back.
As the average American descends into precarity & poverty, they'll be encouraged to sell their votes openly to the highest bidder.
The recent news that Charles and David Koch and their network of conservative activists plan to spend $889 million on the 2016 elections has sent shockwaves throughout the political landscape. In this post, Darrell West reflects on the shifting influence of money in politics.
@petergleick the number of text messages from Dems wanting money is over the top
and drowning out other messages like "don't forget important appointment"
@RnDanger yes, I do!
I also know many are legit, and given how we know it's a common attack, it's very irresponsible to use it for outreach
Their on it
Despite his decisive primary victory and impressive campaign, many Democratic lawmakers are refusing to endorse Zohran Mamdani and are spreading baseless lies and smears in the process.
@petergleick I feel the exact same way. The 2026 Senate race in Texas is going to be a difficult one.
I'm uninspired: https://www.terryvirts.com/
I hate when I go to a candidate site and they don't say anything about their positions. Like am i supposed to vote for you because you went to space?

You too, huh?
@petergleick
I think it’s perfectly clear by now that the neoliberal, establishment Democrats have no intention of “getting their act together”.
They will never cede power. It must be taken away from them.
See the NYC mayoral election for an example of what’s actually needed. Hint: it’s not “abundance” or “vote blue no matter who”.
@petergleick Dear Americans, were you better off a year ago? What party had the power then?
I’d say it’s pointless to attack Democrats right now. But it’s not pointless. It is actually a huge help… to MAGA.
