Labour has just handed the next election to Reform UK.

Shamefully only 49 Labour MPs rebelled on the second reading of the Welfare Bill this evening.
700,000+ new claimants will lose universal credit health payments, £3,000 a year on average.
A two-tier welfare bill.
I am so sorry for future disabled claimants.

Here's the breakdown of votes so you can contact your MP. I've just written to mine.

@junesim63 My local *spits* tory MP voted against it! How f*cking far away from reality is starmer?!
@junesim63 Things can only get worse, especially then the Refill Nigel's Bank Account Party start to bring in US style health insurance as they are promising to do... 😱
@junesim63 On the contrary, it's the rebels who risk Farage. Corbyn had his chance, but he showed that he was unelectable. Politics is the art of the possible.

@junesim63 @Stevenheywood

Not sure people understand that Reform Ltd and the Conservatives voted against this bill because they believe it doesn't go far enough in cutting welfare benefits.

@Mark62 @junesim63
It's a cynical ploy: they voted against because it didn't go far enough but sure as eggs they'll present themselves as protectors of disabled people in their campaign literature. An entirely unnecessary own-goal by the Labour leadership.

@junesim63 My labour MP voted for just chewed them out in email blaming them for deaths in suicides and poverty this will cause. I called it "poking mentally ill people with a hot rod until they either get a job or die" #ukpol #welfarereform #labour
