I do wish we could find something else to call the Republicans other than "the GOP." There is nothing grand about these vicious, evil people.

Now, I get that the press needs it for short headlines. But they use "Dems" for Democrats and that's four letters. So I propose the "Grand Old Obsolete Party," which headlines can refer to as "the GOOP."

Oh, I have to disagree. It's not just the GOP that's capable of this sort of thing. Our (Germany's) brave new government, with a former Black Rock CEO as chancellor, can also easily ignore the Paris climate goals and finance new gas drilling instead of promoting renewable energy.

Yeah, it's not the spiking of the prices, when you look at the tax, health care, food price issues facing your typical US family it's clear that #MAGA leadership doesn't care and MAGA mainstream has no clue. This particular move is all about #profits for #BigOil and #BigCoal.
