Dog-whistle politics coupled with anti-intellectualism isn't anything new, but what is relatively new and much too unknown are effective tools and techniques to combat it.
Several well situated and particularly knowledgeable people in key fields came together to create a knowledge base upon which they built the race-class-gender narrative framework.
This messaging framework, when used frequently enough by enough people, can make a huge difference.

Ian Moffatt@hosford42 @xs4me2 @theicarian That's the bit that gets me - go back to the 1500's and they didn't even exist. We have pubs and houses that are older than that in the UK. Their whole country is made up of immigrants that forced the 'locals' out.
