@QasimRashid false dichotomy. Just because one is elected to office does not inherently mean they have assimilated with the country's culture. They could, in fact, intend to utilize this position of power to expel those in the country to then propagate their own culture, perhaps.

im not sure how accurate that is. If someone questions your allegiance and ability to assimilate to a culture, they're a racist islamophobe? While that is certainly true for some, perhaps it isn't so linear.

This is interesting as Bavaria was the hotbed of Nazism from the 1920s onwards. Antisemitic ideas of the underclass were prevalent in Europe over the preceding centuries so all the basic tenets of Nazism were in place well before Hitler gave it the name "Nazism".

That kind of satire uses identity politics or “religious freedom” to deflect criticism. But Muslim belief isn't entirely aligned with religious freedom—it's often the very opposite of it. Islam has produced far harsher legalism and terror than Christianity.
