Exploring ideas on how to improve the open-social experience in the Big Apple. What does the fediverse mean to you? How do you use it? What would you like to see in it overall — and what can we do for you in @openvibe specifically?

Right now? I'd like to see OpenVibe update my timeline periodically (via a set param) so that when I come back, it doesn't take as long for it to refresh and load the timeline. As it is right now, it takes so long to refresh that I often give up and just open my other fediverse client.

@SedlarDavid @openvibe itll be nice if it had a linux client
@maria @SedlarDavid @openvibe Noted. I can leak, that we are exploring additional platforms right now, so maybe future will bring Linux as well.
Oh I wish I could have it on windows and Linux so much. Even if it was a web app haha
@SedlarDavid @openvibe If I’m there, I can give a few ideas but it’s difficult to say it here.
@DeafITT24 @SedlarDavid @openvibe We are listening :) write me a private mention or summarize your thoughts to my email [email protected].

Probably multiple accounts of the same Kind would be a big help.
Also more supported networks.
If people can access their old accounts in x, instagram or tiktok, it is easier to move them to other places

@taketwo @SedlarDavid Right now, you can already add multiple profiles, and under each profile, you can have different accounts (e.g., Bluesky, Mastodon). So, for example, if you’re managing social media for a company, you might have Profile 1 with your personal accounts and Profile 2 with the company’s accounts.

Importing or accessing old accounts has been noted—we’ll explore that. Thanks!
