The Democratic machine threw everything they had—billionaire endorsements, NYT op-eds, a deluge of corporate cash, and the full weight of washed-up politicians like Andrew Cuomo, Bill Clinton, and Michael Bloomberg—at Zohran Mamdani. And he still won. Big.

They can either learn from him and become the party for working people, or continue to suffer at 26% approval rating. Here's what Mamdani's win can mean for American politics:

Mamdani Wins With the Many Over the Money

What Zohran Mamdani’s Win Means for the Democratic Party—and the Country

Let's Address This with Qasim Rashid
@QasimRashid sadly I think it's pretty clear what the dem gerontocracy has chosen.

@QasimRashid

It is seems that the Make AIPAC Govern America lost.

@QasimRashid If I get one more email from that slimly Chuck Schumer begging for $3 , I’m gonna change my party status back to Independent. Lefties want action. Place your fat, lazy bodies between the ICE thugs and the refugees, confront the Marines in LA. DO SOMETHING!
@QasimRashid I think the important lesson here is that fatalistic focus on finance is a bad message. People who spend the most money do not always win. Message and motive are much more important. I really don't agree with most of Mamdani's plans and platform, but his was a message of demonstrated integrity. I'm very happy with this outcome

@QasimRashid

They keep thowing James Fucking Carville at me, not realizing that it makes me LEAST LIKELY to support them.

I am 72.

@QasimRashid

Change happens when people vote.

@QasimRashid "Will the Democratic Party give him the platform and resources to stave off these attacks and win in November, or will they be silent and/or complicit? I don’t have the answer to that right now."
Really? What they did to India Walton didn't answer that for you?

@QasimRashid
You are more washed up than Clinton.

Just saying
