Dave Spector@igb my friends and I are having a little dispute — they’re for Mandami. I think Mandami is a disaster because of how easily Trump & Co will grind him to dust. Hate Cuomo and Brad lander would have been a smarter choice for NYC… but Mandami is the lever Trump will use to literally place blue cities under martial law.

@davemangot @igb NYC is unique. Nowhere else is the country represents liberalism and diversity the way NYC does.. let alone its contribution the the nations GDP in terms of a single city. It’s also what makes it the most dangerous target for Trump.
@Dhmspector Trump et al will certainly go after Mandami should he be elected, but we can’t keep running moderate candidates in the face of an increasingly powerful right-wing, federal government. If we do we will just slowly slide into fascism as compromise brings all of us farther from the center and closer to the extreme right.
