MD Thermochrome v0.3 will be available tomorrow, and it’s a big one.

33 new styles. Four different italics. Very little regard for legibility.

@mass_driver nice! And good subfamily naming!
@razziatype thank you! That part really took a while to figure out

@mass_driver legibility smegibility, it looks amazing. Just purchased!

I love how the Thin and Ultra especially remind me of printing on different surfaces, less absorbent vs more absorbent, and perhaps faster vs slower printing speeds. The multiple italics are looking really nice too 👏

@cjtype thanks CJ! I know what you mean, to me the Semibold often feels like a Regular with ink bleed
@mass_driver I am ultra inclined to use this.
@caleb excellent, 10/10, thank you
@mass_driver Super sick!! Reminds me of the VT220 font this way. I might try this as my coding font, when I'm in a masochistic mood

@pixelambacht it’s interesting you noticed that, Froyo Tam suggested the VT220 font after I showed some early sketches of this — it ended up being a really useful source!

(Not monospaced, but I’d love to know how you get on with it for code)

@mass_driver Love the naming!
@wimwepster thanks Wim! I think it might actually have been more difficult than drawing the letters
