I agree with this 100%:

The funniest homophobic notion is the whole "you're just a lesbian bc you cant get a man". Like do you know how easy it is to get a man? It takes a smartphone and 10 minutes – while trying to get a gf is like trying to win the lottery with a single ticket you found on the sidewalk.

And this:

Being a lesbian is hard because when I hit on women they just think I'm being friendly. I could be as forward as "Your ass is amazing, sit on my face" and she'd be like "Thanks girl! It's the jeans! 70% off at American Eagle if you're interested"

@ics Heh, quite the overexaggeration though. It's comparing hookups with men vs. getting a girlfriend.

Trying to "get a man" means something very different if referring to a hookup vs. a boyfriend. And same with women.

While it is harder than men, I haven't had that much difficulty finding women for hookups and sex and stuff. Especially if you hang around local lesbian communities, kink events, etc. But I've had some limited success even with dating apps.

And if looking for a boyfriend, finding a man who actually treats you decently and is generally a person you'd actually love being with, is ... pretty hard.

@iyes I think it is meant as somewhat of a joke, a meme even.
@ics I know! Just wanted to have a conversation based on it.
@iyes TBH, I do agree with her - not even re gf but just hookup: men are easy, women are quite difficult - at least that's my experience. My experience is actually summed up in the follow-up post to that one: even if I am obviously hitting on a woman,... 😂🥹🫶
