The housed residents around this encampment apparently came up with a suggestion to CUT DOWN ALL THE TREES in this park so that the unhoused people had no shade and would have to leave.

I did an online class on happiness and one of the things I took away was the more people will keep themselves in a poorer place if it means someone else doesn't get more than them.
The replicable study said they'd give someone an extra amount of yearly pay if they allowed a coworker to get a promotion and raise. Most people said no.
