Having signed a trade agreement with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, Trump thinks he now has a trade agreement with the European Union.
The United Kingdom left the European Union 5 years ago.

Keir Starmer is also the President of Europe, hasn't word gotten around yet? If we had all studied at Trump University, there would be no more doubts! ๐
@randahl
Having a Trump as the POTUS is truly a(n intellectual and political) "Russian Roulette" ๐คช
(It says Diplomats are taking courses training to keep a straight face while he is talking)
@SamsenBdRi @randahl Trump and his thugs are doing the bidding of the established oligarchs. You know, the ones who have quietly and not so quietly funded the corruption of the Supreme Court and of Congress. And, in fact, Donald Trump.
Trump is an ignorant puppet with delusions of grandeur and a serious case of dementia. He is in control of nothing. Stephen Miller and the others who are in charge at the White House work for the oligarchs, not Trump.
Elon Musk may have a huge amount of paper wealth, but it is all dependent on federal contracts and corporate welfareโs.
So, who are the oligarchs I am referring to who are running the world, and the USA in particular? The remaining royal families with money (esp. the House of Saud) and these folks:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wealthiest_families
You rarely hear most of their names because they control most of the worldโs media and they ensure that they are not discussed, except when one of them has an argument with another. But, these are the people who own our politicians and who run our governments.
@RowanH @randahl
"Slowly, slowly!"
Money rules the world, that is undisputed.
Musk is relevant in the US and worldwide because of his companies SpaceX and Tesla.
Furthermore, tech billionaires and systemically important financial companies are influential in the US.
e.g.
The House of Saud discovered oil in the 1930s and rose to prominence with the founding of OPEC in the 1970s. But they are just one player among many.
Let us agree that government needs to be restructured.
@SamsenBdRi @randahl He has already destroyed them.
SCOTUS is stuffed with a Trump-GOP majority.
Congress is a double GOP majority, which technically would be the sole instance that could demand an accounting from him, has Congressmen giggle when they tell the press that POTUS is breaking the constitution.
So yes, the #Trumpregime has literally already broken the regular check and balances. Next stop, federal occupation of these pesky Democrat voting metropolitan areas, test case LA.
@yacc143 @randahl
While impeachment is one way to remove the President of the United States from office, it is not the only way. A President can also be removed through the 25th Amendment to the Constitution,
If there is unrest or civil war in the USA, the whole world will be affected!
So please donโt hesitate and debate.
@SamsenBdRi Nobody sane can want Sections 1, 3, or 4 to be applied here. Nobody sane can want J.D. Vance to become president.
I hope somebody will find a better solution than liberal application of the Second Amendment...
@SamsenBdRi @randahl Yes, but that's not a check & balance on the #Trumpregime if the regime has to remove the Glorious Leader.
Notice that basically the same women and men who are doing his dirty work would have to vote to remove him. That's not check and balances, that's just a formality to keep the government working if the President becomes only โkind ofโ disabled, without being nice enough to fall down properly dead.
You lost me when you said 'Trump thinks' he is not capable of thinking.
I reacted on that, too.
@randahl
What a bloody idiot POTUS is.
Oh, and BTW, Sir Keir was doing what anyone with any social graces would do, help someone pick up what was dropped โ not kowtowing to Trump as some media outlets were quick to criticise.
Journalism has gone to the dogs.
Stable genius.
Or was it debil genius?
@randahl And Starmer - "yes sir, I can pick up these papers you have dropped sir" - and not commenting when Trump says he has a deal with the EU. Which must have been hard for him.
I do feel slightly sorry for Starmer. He is spineless and so totally unable to deal with someone who is clearly incompetent. So he just smiles and sells us down the river.
Mich erinnert der Donald immer mehr an Heinrich Lรผbke. Heavy on wire, Mr. President, hieร eine deutsche Satire รผber ihn. You cannot make you menothing younothing out of the powder.
....out of the dust!!! You are heavy on the woodway here!
๐ OMG. ๐ฏ
Every accusation is a confession.
And he's accused Biden of being a robot multiple times.
๐ฎ being a skeezy last-gen chatbot in a cheap animatronic shell explains so much. The creepy way his orange-plastic "skin" doesn't quite fit his face. The "weaving", aka hallucinating. His inability to do simple things like walk, drink water from a bottle, or hold a folder of papers.
Dang. Our overlord is a robot. A crappy, crappy robot.
@Walter8100000 don't get me started... I had to explain so often that "EU" isn't just short for "Europe"...
@randahl Also iirc someone mentioned that the sheets were all empty which dropped to the floor. I don't know what agreement he's talking about. Did he hide it on his back? Did Starmer get half of the sheets after?
I pity all sane people have to deal with this bonehead.
Oh btw, when Trump said that about the EU, Starmer didn't say anything. I think he'd like the idea too, being the Minister of the whole EU. ๐ One can have dreams.
