Started #TellMeWhatYouSaw #Kdrama because Jang Hyuk is in it and I’m a Jang Hyuk fangirl now, and I immediately realized I’ve already seen it. But I can’t remember what happened or if I liked it 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I guess I’ll just watch it again.
@jcurries
Well, report back! He looks so familiar, but I've apparently only seen him in 2 episodes of My Country.

@EllenInEdmonton @jcurries Seriously? YOu've not watched a single Jang Hyuk Drama?
@ronsboy67 @jcurries
Nope, with the exception of those 2 episodes. My Country didn't grab me hard enough that I kept watching, but I may return. I've now started the 54-episode Jewel in the Palace (Dae Jang Geum). Fortunately, it's already far better than the other epic, Jewel in the Crown (Dong-Yi), which had an interesting story drowned out with 60 episodes of people walking around a palace ground or staring at each other, repeating "Majesty"!
@EllenInEdmonton @jcurries Yep, Dae Jang Geum is a worthy classic. For more than ten years it was the ONLY pure sageuk #KDrama I'd watched, until this year when I watched the amazing Tree With Deep Roots starring none other than Jang Hyuk 😀
@ronsboy67 @jcurries
Oh, A Tree With Deep Roots is definitely a show that I'd like to watch. I'm gradually getting a very patchy timeline of (fictional) Korean history in my brain. King Sejong certainly belongs in there. I visited his tomb while I was in Korea, in Yeoju.
@EllenInEdmonton @jcurries
Dae Jang Geum 🙂
The Long and Winding Road !

@ronsboy67 @EllenInEdmonton @jcurries me neither, but I have Wok Of Love on my watchlist

@s1m0n4 @EllenInEdmonton @jcurries I hope you enjoy it - the recipe was not to my taste. :)
