My yunohost server is properly setup and is pointing to my brand new domain name :3

Here's a thread on each of my little projects for my server!

My current self-hosting dream goal: - self-host my blog (done) - self-host my own fediverse instance (I'm looking into that) - self-host my own funkwhale instance to share and stream music and podcasts (no where near ready to do this, I have no idea where to start.) - self-host a #bookwyrm instance for @[email protected] and other independent libraries (on pause while I finish working on my TTRPG) And do it all with @[email protected], which supports some (but not all) of what I need already and that is really accessible to use for a noob like me. #selfhosting #yunohost

Self-hosting my blog is going to be pretty simple : I'm already self-hosting it on a friend's server using wordpress, so I just need to copy/paste or migrate it.
I was using #wordpress for my blog but I just found out about #ghost and now I might migrate there :0
Self-hosting my own fediverse instance should be easy. The main issue is picking the right one. I have no idea where to look. I've been told about Pleroma, Sharkey, Misskey, Akkoma... Would love to hear the fediverse's opinions on how to look for the best instance for you!
#funkwhale is installed! However, I'm already putting this idea on pause as I've just read that they are releasing a v2 that breaks federation with all 1.* versions... I'll have to wait for a v2 package to be available on #yunohost (or help make it happen somehow)
an initial #Bookwyrm instance is up and running for @librairie_chimeres, but I still need to properly configure it, upload some book descriptions, create a user guideline... All the good stuff!
The AI tar pit idea is cool, but I'm worried that if I implement it server wide, it might break SEO, RSS and stuff like that :xxx
Finally, after the install party with #neutrinet I thought I could look into hosting some kind of Matrix instance, or at least look into that. I'd love to self-host my emails, but I've heard that's really hellish to manage, so I'll work on it after everything else.
