Pipes get blocked too easily, especially kitchen pipes. The minimum diameter for domaestic grey water pipes should be 15cm.

@anon_opin you'd need to have 150mm pipe off your sink though. That's a plug the size of a saucer...

@chewie @anon_opin A toilet waste pipe is only 110mm. With 150mm, you could lose cups. Perhaps pets.

I shudder to think what might come *up* it, too...
