We've managed to #escape the #house and are #aboard our #boat Singing the Blues again.
No idea when we'll be back aboard again. The buyers of our house visited yesterday saying their buyer is hoping to move on 23 July - so there's lots to do, starting with #packing an over big house with too much not offered to #Freegle and too much to pack.
Having cruised down the #River Ant we reached #BartonBroad. We plan on staying here tonight with our #mudweight over the bow. Tomorrow morning we'll call at #Neatishead and buy a few #provisions at the #village #community #shop.

They used to be one of my favourite #halfdecker designs on the #Broads. Cheaper to maintain than the #traditional #wooden #classes found on the Broads, but I succumbed to the #SeaHawk which is a fabulous design for #solo #weekend #sailing

While the #Britsh #canals have much to recommend them, when you have the open spaces of the #Norfolk #Broads on your #doorstep it's hard to say which are best.
I like to think I can balance the various differences fairly as we are lucky enough to have a small #canal #workers #cottage that fronts the #Bridgewater #Canal at #PrestonBrook where we plan to keep our #canoe after our house move.
