Upgraded my #3dprinted 7-segment clock using translucent #prusa PETG (previously using white PLA). Now it lets a LOT more light through which unfortunately means we have some hotspots where the LEDs are, but in person it looks kinda like a Nixie display! Definitely much clearer and easier to read.

@andy_warb I got very good results with a layer of thin paper (like pergament) near to the diffusor and the "right" distance between the leds and the paper. this will depend on the angle of the leds, for standard ws2812 it was about 8mm.
