Yesterday the Coldstream Guards trooped the Colour, parading on the King's birthday.
It went smoothly.
HRH is constitutional monarch, official head of the country.
Executive power is otherwise disposed.
It sort of works.
In France and England, back a while, there were adjustments to the head of State. The Americans adopted the French attempt to not have to do it again.
The French are on IIRC their version 4.0 or so of a Republic, the Americans still on about 1.20 - buggy.
