Green LiamSplatoon 3 3rd kits
I’ll only talk about the highlights for me if it’s not interesting I’m not talking about it… good or bad:
Splash O Matic: First time this weapon got a 3rd kit in the series surprisingly but after having been an infamous weapon in competitive I guess it was inevitable… however toxic mist + ink storm is kind of meh on this weapon especially when compared to the original and Neo kits… and yes doesn’t have Zipcaster despite the original having it in the trailer… :(
Colorz Aerospray: Rip PG Bronze :( eh burst bomb + splatcolour screen it’s ok I guess… kind of random TBH…
Glamorz Splattershot: Burst Bomb and Kra… wait hold up did they swap the Aerospray and Splattershot kits!!! Well this is so far the best 3rd kit but not for long…
Jet Squelcher: Surprisingly also the first 3rd kit here and it has burst bomb which is amazing for it dunno about Splashdown though… I mean it can work if someone gets too close I guess…
Clawz 96 gal: 96 Gal’s first time getting a 3rd kit and… Well it is better than the OG 96 gal IMO but Angle Shooter + Tacticooler is hard to agree with… I mean there are straight up better tacticooler kits and the 96 deco is pretty good on it’s own so…
Gleamz Blaster: Surprisingly a 3rd kit debut despite being the original blaster what kit will it have? Squid Beakon + Crab Tank… eeeeh

Rapid Blaster Pro: Another 3rd kit debut and It’s just the N-Zap 85’s kit but with worse painting abilities it maaaay have a shorter special gauge but since shooters are the default weapon this one’s going to be ignored by anyone who doesn’t main Rapid Blaster Pro despite the fact that it probably is the best Rapid Blaster Pro kit…
Carbon Roller ANG-L: I’m too lazy to remember the random letters in the Barazushi weapons some are kind of like words in this case but I don’t quite get them all… but I want to point attention to it because in this case I imagine it’s said as “Angle” which WHY WAS THIS WEAPON NOT GIVEN ANGLE SHOOTER COME ON NINTENDO!!! Fizzy Bomb + Super Chump feels random but TBF Carbon Roller has 2 uniquely solid kits here in Splatoon 3 so… how can you make a good kit for the Carbon Roller now…
Especially without tripping up the other rollers… but kind of lame for a debut 3rd kit…Planetz Big Swig Roller: Surprised to see a Splatoon 3 debuted weapon get a 3rd kit (besides the Stringer and Splatana) Torpedo + Triple Splashdown doesn’t sound too bad honestly… kind of weird that the OG Roller doesn’t have a 3rd kit… and I doubt it will in 3
But still eh given how awful the Corocoro splat roller was maybe it’s a good thing I mean COME ON giving Splash Wall and Inkzooka to a short ranged weapon what a STUPID thing to do there’s no way they’d…
Painbrush: Oh… 💀
Cometz Octobrush: Hey look the only brush to get a 3rd kit lol and it… IT HAS AUTOBOMB AND KRAKEN ROYALE WHAT!? THIS IS LITERALLY MY DREAM KIT FOR THE OCTOBRUSH (My main in Splatoon 1 and 2 were the Vanilla/Hero Octobrushes and Kraken goes without saying and I have a soft spot for Autobomb honestly)
man kind of sucks that the two kits Painbrush got weren’t that great TBH I like the weapon too but alas maybe in Splatoon 4 as I doubt a 3rd kit will ever appear for the Painbrush…
Splat Charger and Splatterscope: Oh wow I guess there’s only 28 3rd kits odd I thought there was gonna be 30 (ok genuinely ignoring the fact that I’m pretending the Painbrush’s 3rd kit doesn’t exist why did they bother counting the scope and non scope as separate kits…
They genuinely should have just said 29 and been done with it they’re also the ONLY charger with a 3rd kit) anyways it’s sprinkler + Crab Tank which is a Kensa Charger reference it’s ok… not a charger guy
Tri Slosher: A surprise 3rd kit debut Splat Bomb + Splat Screen isn’t bad but like the Nouveau kit is really good…
Hornz Dread Wringer: The 2nd non stringer/splatana Splatoon 3 weapon to get a 3rd kit :) IDK curling bomb + crab tank looks weird IMO also surprised no 3rd kit for Slosher
Torrentz Hydra Splatling: another 3rd kit debut sprinkler + Big Bubbler a very defensive kit for the Hydra it’s interesting for sure but I still prefer the original TBH…. Though I’m not great with splatlings
Hoofz Dualie Squelchers: third kit debut even WITH the dual squelcher Splat Bomb + Splat Screen ok that’s fine I guess…
Bulbz Tri Stringer: Angle Shooter + Inkjet Inkjets fine angle shooter is angle shooter…
REEF LUX MILK: Torpedo + Booyah Bomb = Menace
Stickerz Splatana Stamper: Autobomb + Booyah Bomb ah the Hydra Splatling but on a mid-short range weapon that’s unique I guess… stamper would probably die more… but also be more menacing…
Splatana Wiper: Curling Bomb + Trizooka… hmm this could be decent but I dunno if this’ll surpass the original or the deco? But it does seem decent
Overall a… majority of weapons I tend to use more got some good kits and even some I don’t sadly though it does seem like 10 star freshness is it’s whole other thing but I genuinely don’t think I’ll be doing that… I’ll stick to my more reasonable goal of 4 starring all weapons and maybe 5 starring ones I enjoy more… also doesn’t seem like weapon power counts total win rate across past rank wins before 10.0 (even in this season)
maybe it’s just cause I’m looking at the app data but the only weapons I’ve used in ranked seriously are Octobrush, Orderbrush, Painbrush, Sloshing Machine and Octobrush Nouveau and soon Cometz Octobrush so six total…I might at some point play some S+ games to input a best 9 but we’ll see… could be a good excuse to alternate weapons… to get more 4 stars…
