@Aviation_Librarian Ah! I love a trijet! I got to fly in a KLM DC-10 back in the late 80's. I never got to ride in an L1011 though - that was my fave passenger plane back in the day.

@VA3DSO I love the L-1011. My uncle worked for Delta. So we were on tristars quite a bit. I think the biggest score for me was going down the elevator to the lower alley with some flight attendants at age 10. They were telling my uncle about how much fun they have down there. I now know what they mean by “fun“ 🤭

@Aviation_Librarian Lucky you! When I flew KLM that one time, I got to fly first class in the 747 on the way over from Canada to the Netherlands, and then when I came home, it felt like cargo class on the DC-10! LOL! Still, I enjoyed it.
