Any recommendations for #wildlifecamera? I'm looking for something with motion detection, night vision, ideally mains powered or USB charged, WiFi enabled. Bonus points for SFTP or similar access.

It's to go in my garden to see what's going on after dark.

I realised I was already bought into the Eufy ecosystem with my doorbell and I don't hate it, so I've ordered an S340 inc solar panel. Badger watch, here we go!
@coldclimate Yeah, that's the reason I've got Tapo cameras... I bought the doorbell and now I've inadvertently bought into an ecosystem!
@coldclimate I've got these on our house and my parents, https://www.tapo.com/uk/product/smart-camera/tc85-kit/. Not specifically a wildlife camera, but does everything apart from SFTP... You don't need the solar panel, they do a kit that doesn't have that.

Tapo Security Camera Kit, Solar Panel Powered, Built-in 10000mAh Battery, Free Person/Vehicle/Pet AI Detection, 2K QHD and 150° FOV, Color Night Vision, IP66 Weatherproof Camera, Works with Alexa and Google

@coldclimate Wildlife cameras were a fairly early project for Pi's. I couldn't justify the cost of a whole kit given we have everything but a waterproof enclosure, but given you could get things like temperature, humidity etc data included with push notifications it's hard to rule it out. It's open source with in-house data too, the community is established and it's Linux. This has your name written all over it.
@FourQ it really does, but I'm so slammed for time at the moment I've ended up buying something
@coldclimate What have you gone for?
