#goodinternet news! my partner and i have been hard at work packaging magazines and shipping labels. a job he never signed up for. 🥲 we’re learning a lot of good mistakes (ones we won’t have to do again, thank goodness!) since neither of us are coming from e-commerce backgrounds, but the magazines are coming along great now. i’m hoping domestic subscribers will have theirs in their hand by the end of next week! (international is a bit less predictable, i’m sorry!)

we’ve also surpassed the initial print run in orders (!!) so we are waiting on the reprint to arrive for shipments of recent orders. i think at this point we’re looking at a 2-week turnaround from order time at the moment across all orders since launch. is that acceptable? good? not great? let me know!

the good news about this taking a bit longer is that i should have tracking numbers for all orders when we’re finished! when you receive your copy, be sure to post it on mastodon and spread the good word! :3

Good Internet
@xandra This is neat. I am really loving poking through the site. :)

@xandra The idea sounds great! I'd like to get a print copy. I took a quick peek and wasn't sure what the best way is to do that (membership vs order?) and I'm also not sure what content is in the print; is it the articles I see on the homepage?

Glad you shared!

@treefifty thank you for asking! membership allows you to give us some additional help on the forefront; you’ll get a print edition with a year’s subscription of the highest tier.

the stories online are original pieces submitted to the magazine, but the print copy has a couple of print-only pieces! :) if you become a free member, you’ll have access to a free black-and-white “zine” version so you can see the content in print. the digital edition is cheaper and comes in the form of a pdf in your inbox!

it’s whatever form of content you prefer. ordering a print copy is always the best way to help fund us!
