Last night I installed the TheRetroChannel 🇦🇺 VIC-20 SVideo/Composite board in my "VC-20".
It went relatively easily, although I should probably clean up and add some fresh solder to the pins around the video socket sometime. But it works for now. Comparison screenshots coming up next! 🧵👇
VIC-20 image quality comparison with and without the TheRetroChannel video mod. The improvement is quite dramatic in most cases.
Although the comparison here shows SVideo, the improvement over composite is almost as substantial.

On an unrelated note - is there a remote chance these days, for me sitting in the EU, to get a Penultimate+3 or I have to inquiry some British friends if they can "accidentally" have one in their backpack, while heading this way? 🤪
@chainq I still ship to the EU. But I can't ship via 'standard post' So everything needs go go via DHL Express, but because of this, you'll get it extra fast & you won't get hit for import duty.
#FUNFACT, I can no longer ship to Northern Ireland.. Due to the #SunlitUplands that #Brexit never was. 💩
