Breathtakingly beautiful!
Thank you! ๐Ÿค— I admit getting up early (which I hate with a passion) was worth it
I feel the pain :) I a much the same, hence the glaring lack of sunrise pictures
๐Ÿ˜‚ Yep! I got up early to go for a walk before work 3 times earlier this year I think. I took a million photos so I wouldn't have to do it again soon. ๐Ÿคฃ At least back then, sunrise was when I got up anyway. Now? No way! ... Although I have to get up 5:30-ish this week to separate the new hens from the old ones to avoid a bloodbath in the coop when they get up and out (I place the new hens in the coop at night when they are all calm to help with the introduction) ๐Ÿซฉ
Oh great strategy, batchphotographing sunrises. Currently the sun rises around 03:30 here, might as well not even go to sleep the night before :)

How long does it take for the hens to accept new ones? A poultry bloodbath sounds less than optimal.
Oh god, that is early! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Here it rises around 5 at the moment.

I'm going to put them together on Saturday and hope for the best. ๐Ÿ˜… They are separated but can see each other now to familiarize, so they should not see each other as threats (dinosaur brains) by the weekend. There's going to be some pecking, which is normal, but I don't want any injuries of course. I'm a bit worried because the new ones are still significantly smaller than the others, but they seem quite confident and curious and I hope they can hold their own. Fingers crossed!
I wish you and the hens best of luck with the introduction :)
Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š
This is really great! I love it.
Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š
