ZorroI was lucky enough to get to see Ben-Hur (1959) on the big screen at the NFSA yesterday. A wonderful movie experience for myself and a couple of like-minded friends!

Pat@zorrobandito I remember seeing it in the theater when originally released. Advance ticket purchase required, complete with intermission. It was a Big Event for which we dressed up appropriately.
@patrascan this had all the trimmings too! A six minute musical intro while people got to their seats and a sorely-needed intermission.

@zorrobandito I was 9 years old. It was Easter. We wore our best Easter dresses, hats, gloves. Dressiest daytime wear. My dad wore his best daytime suit. Sweet memories, thanks for asking.
