So FOUR of the Rings of Power were consumed by dragons??
Are we talking consumed as in "blasted into nonexistence by dragon fire" or consumed as in "unexpectedly nommed"?

In the former case, why would a dragon destroy a perfectly hoardable bit of bling?
And in the latter case, why would a dragon eat a perfectly hoardable bit of bling?(Trying to armour its voonerable bit from the inside?)

Imagine being the Dark Lord working up to Bring Them All And In The Darkness Bind Them only to find out that you're down to fifteen Rings of Power and four unexpectedly puissant globs of draconic digestive system. It's just not the same.

@DMakarios I'd assume that consuming the rings was just a side effect of nomming (or burning) the people that were currently wearing them. 😅
@Gulleko I would have thought either that Rings of Power were not so easily destroyed, or that a dragon's bling-radar would alert it to the need for caution in dispatching a Ring-wearer.
But I have clearly not tested this in the field!
@DMakarios Considering that dragons can supposedly eat armoured knights, their digestive system is probably pretty powerful. But more testing is definitely required!
