On Tik Tok, a guy asked a purely click-baity question: If you could get rid of ONE thing on the planet, what would it be?

It's the kind of post designed to elicit a lot of engagement.

After reading that Daily Kos post about Trump's new ethics office head, I have my answer: the manosphere.

Just *foop* it's all gone: the podcasters, the infrastructure for it, the monetizing, the advertisors, the creators, the listeners, the -stans. All of it just sucked into a black hole.

Earth would heal.

No one: But Diligence! It seems like you're saying --

Me: Yes. I am. That's *exactly* what I'm saying.

@DeliaChristina I'm excited for this gay world.
@DeliaChristina
we've never been closer to achieving human parthenogenesis!
@datn @DeliaChristina My (male) 10th grade biology teacher told the class "Boys, you'd better get good at cooking or find some other way to make yourselves useful because sometime soon the girls will be able to clone themselves or their best friends and they won't need you."
@LauraLangdon
that's why I got good at, uh, cooking.
@DeliaChristina

@DeliaChristina the Internet.

In a second.

20 years ago I legitimately thought it was the Pinnacle of human achievement. Today if I could push a button and end it forever I would.

@DeliaChristina

Welp, that should also kill corporate media. Or at least Murdoch's corner of it.

@DeliaChristina excising the manosphere would only be about 20% of the male population. Obnoxious, attention seeking, offensive arrogance makes them visible. Diligence if its a two button system to activate, as a rep of non-idiot-child men i'm so there for you if needed. I for one would breath a sigh of relief and find great value in the historical event as a teaching point for adolescent boys emerging into actual manhood (not just getting taller)
