Just noticed there’s another meadery in the #TwinCities. They’ve had #mead available for about a year. It’s exciting partly because the founder is an Ethiopian immigrant woman and she’s producing Tej. That’s an Ethiopian honey wine that adds a shrub called gesho. Gesho is said to be similar to orange juice.

Now I just have to find some.

Just reread what I wrote. It’s not that gesho is similar to orange juice, it’s that the Tej is supposed to be somewhat similar. The good news is that I asked about this at Ombibulous, a store near me that carries only Minnesota made liquor, they’re going to try ti get it.
