@nsspain Wow, I opened the page, there was still standard ones, 5 minutes later waiting list. 😥 I was considering going this year. Hopefully you can squeeze a few more folks in!

@arroz @nsspain wait, standard ones should be still available?

I just checked, and it seems so…

@fmarini @nsspain This is what I see. I just joined the waiting list.
@fmarini @nsspain Oh wait, that's 2024… bad link on the website?

@fmarini @nsspain That works, thanks! The main conference site still points to 2024, I didn't realize that.

@arroz @nsspain quick heads up: if you decide to go, I suggest to check out the accommodation as soon as possible, most hotels in Logroño are already fully booked.

I booked mine two weeks ago, and finding a room at a reasonable price wasn’t easy.

@fmarini @nsspain Thanks for the tip! What’s the best way to go? The local airport seems to have only flights to Madrid and trains are regional.

@arroz @nsspain last year I flew to Bilbao and then took a (slowish, couple of hours) train from there.

Other possibilities would be Barcelona + train (get the fast one, it’s about 4 hrs), or Madrid + train possibly.

Oh, and join the slack channel, easier to get suggestions and maybe organize group travels, if you’d like not to travel alone ☺️

@arroz @nsspain oh, and keep in mind that Renfe doesn’t show fast trains until a month or so from the travel date, so that’s why you’re only seeing regional ones.

To get an idea of which fast ones there are, try with a date in the next 20/30 days (same week day might be a good idea).
