So the new Harry Potter HBO show has cast its three kid leads. Don’t care. Not in the least. I won’t be watching and I urge you not to watch either.

I won’t do anything to support Rowling and her anti-trans bigotry and cruel crusade against the trans community. She can go right to hell. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

@gedeonm I voiced this opinion IRL. Someone said to me but don’t you have empathy for how she was brought up & her struggles that made her this way.

My response was that people can have a bad time growing up. I had many things happen to me that could have radicalized me. I could have been an evil person. But I have a sense of right & wrong. I can decipher good & evil. I can educate myself to be open minded. I chose a different path. She cannot & will not. Your past doesn’t make you who you are. You have a choice to be who you become & have the will to change.

@iRalph @gedeonm Even if you believe that everything you do is 100 percent influenced by your genetics and the way you were raised, it doesn’t make sense to just excuse someone’s harmful actions.

There are reasons the worst people in the world are the way they are. We at least have to try to show them we won’t accept it. Convince them they are wrong or at least that their actions will have consequences.
